Conference Purpose: To provide school administrators, law enforcement personnel and other partnering agencies with evidence-based tools, practices and interventions that are essential for creating safe, supportive and successful schools.

Attendees will hear from national and local experts in the following areas:

  • The relationship between school safety and academic achievement and the importance of using a partnership approach to improve school climate
  • Best practices in youth violence (and other problem behavior) prevention, intervention and re-engagement across the developmental continuum (early childhood through high school graduation)
  • Comprehensive crisis response planning
  • Data driven school safety planning
