***Save the Date***

***Our 2018 Catalyst for Change Breakfast is slated to take place on Friday, September 28!***

Thank you to all of our Guests, Table Captains, Volunteers, and Sponsors for helping to make our 2nd Annual Catalyst for Change Breakfast a success!

With your support we were able to exceed our goal… We raised a total of $50,000 for the Youth Initiative and our LIFT Fund.

The event, held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Adams 12 Five Star Schools Conference Center in Thornton, welcomed over 300 attendees who gathered in support. Attendees included dozens of elected officials and dignitaries, and representation from across the public, education, and private sectors. READ MORE

We were honored to present Kevin West, School District 27J Director of Intervention Services, with the 2017 Youth Initiative Champion Award at our recent Catalyst for Change Breakfast. The purpose of the Champion Award is to recognize leaders, partners, and organizations who:

  • Demonstrate a strong vision and driving passion around results for kids.
  • Inspire others to work together and set aside individual agendas.
  • Align their time, talent, or treasure to support Cradle to Career Success.
  • Ultimately, the Youth Initiative Champion is the best friend a young person could have.

Kevin served as an active member of the leadership team that led the Safe Schools Healthy Students Grant from 2005 – 2012, which eventually transformed into the Youth Initiative of Adams County Organization we are today. He served as a Board of Director from 2014 – 2016 to help with our successful transition from the incorporated federal grant to a stand alone non-profit. READ MORE
